Well here it is..My first Blog...and no followers. I am guessing no one will really follow me until i have something to say on a subject. Then again even after I write something I may have even less followers. Well regardless I feel the creative desire to write and to be heard. So come along for the ride invite your friends and invite the masses because I can certainly guarantee that it will be entertaining and hopefully enlightening.
August 23rd 2010, my birthday of sorts, some of you maybe be wondering what I mean of my birthday of sorts. Well its day I was born more specifically born again. That is the day after I met Pastor Andy Falleur from Calvary Ottawa and we spent two hours praying at a Tim Hortons in Orleans on a Sunday Night (I was later told by a source close to Andy that Andy must have really liked me because he hates Tim Hortons Coffee). It was that Night that I rededicated my life to Jesus Christ and I accepted that I am a sinner and I turned away from Sin that night and turned towards Jesus Christ. I was saved in more ways than once that night, first off had I not met Andy that night, I had planned on ending my life that night (I had an overdose of my medication the week before). So Jesus Christ working through Andy had saved my life that night. Saved in a bigger way, saved for eternity by receiving Jesus Christ.
So that week broke, off work sick, depressed and lost. Andy put me to work for Calvary. I began by picking up furniture for Ryan and Rachel Saul. I did that for two weeks. For two weeks I got to meet all the wonderful people at Calvary Ottawa www.calvaryottawa.ca and more and more I started to feel better. I started my healing process. I started to have something I lacked for a very long time. I started to have hope.
I have started attending Bible Study, and soon a Discipleship group. I attend service every Saturday Night and I pray, I mean i pray...I talk to God on a daily basis. It took some time but I realize that he listens and he answers me and I hear him. My life has made a drastic 180 degree turn around and I am truly blessed for the people who are a part of my life now. With God all things are possible.
I love Jesus..so please follow my blog and join me on this journey and learn a little more about me....Call me a Jesus person, Jesus People or Jesus Freak....I am what I am and it is what it is....So once again I invite you to "Walk with me"
Jason
